J. Arthur Design Woodworking

I began woodworking with my Papa in the 1990s, building birdhouses and rocking horses using his secondhand tools, and rekindled my interest in the craft upon graduating from high school alongside my father. Before enlisting in the U.S. Army, I spent a summer in Boone, NC as an apprentice to hone my skills and expand upon what my Papa taught me. Woodworking has been an integral part of my life for the last decade, and this passion culminated in the creation of J. Arthur Designs, a Charlotte-based custom woodworking and furniture design company.
